IWFCT is pleased to welcome Guergana Rangatcheva as a new member.

Guergana has a twenty-year history of guiding organizations in all matters financial, including audit, tax, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, treasury, human resources, and employee benefit functions.

Today, at Bradley, Foster & Sargent (BFS), an investment and wealth management firm, headquartered in Hartford, Guergana is Chief Financial Officer. As Chief Financial Officer, she oversees the firm’s finance, taxation, corporate treasury, and human resources. Her industry expertise and background position BFS for continued growth and success.

Guergan joined BFS in 2020, after 10 years at CohnReznick in her position as a Senior Audit Manager, providing assurance services and financial insights to small and mid-size privately and publicly held companies in various industries. Prior to that she held progressively senior public accounting positions at UHY Advisors and Marcum starting in 2004.

Guergana is passionate about helping grow and support the start-up ecosystem in CT for manufacturing and women lead organizations.

As a passionate community leader, Guergana has been active in the non-profit world since 2010, currently serving as a board member and treasurer of PLAN of Connecticut. PLAN of Connecticut’s mission is to improve the lives of people with disabilities by providing access to cost-effective special needs trust administration services. Guergana is also the President of Connecticut Entrepreneurs Forum and a board member of the Connecticut Technology Council. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Guergana graduated from SUNY Old Westbury with a B.S. in accounting and from SUNY Stony Brook with a B.S. in mathematics.

Born in Bulgaria, Guergana is fluent in English and Bulgarian.
