Ann Condon, ESG Trailblazer, Joins IWFCT

Ann Condon is a consequential leader, attorney, and trailblazer who has been at the forefront of driving impactful change in global environmental and social governance. She was a board member and recently served as Interim President of the Institute for Sustainable Communities.

During her distinguished 30+ year career at General Electric, Ann and her team built and led groundbreaking compliance programs that reshaped the company’s approach to environment, health and safety, sustainability, supply chain ethics, and product stewardship. Her leadership was pivotal in demonstrating how reducing GE’s environmental impact could deliver business value, showcase GE technology, and position the company as a global leader in environmental innovation.

An Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) thought leader, Ann supported GE’s acclaimed Ecomagination initiative. Her expertise in regulatory policy and technology was critical to advancing achievement of Ecomagination operating goals, pushing the envelope on sustainability, while bolstering GE’s climate and chemical policy leadership.

A frequent speaker on all aspects of ESG, Ann has been a guest lecturer at Yale University and a Visiting Scholar & Member of the Leadership Council at the Environmental Law Institute.

She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and holds a law degree from George Washington University’s National Law Center.
