IWF Connecticut is pleased to announce that Roberta Wachtelhausen, IWF Connecticut Member for being Hartford Business Journal’s 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree. IWF Connecticut is proud of all her achievements and for being recognized for it by the Hartford Business Journal.

Roberta Wachtelhausen has over 30 years of senior leadership experience shaping products and programs at health plans and other health and wellbeing service organizations across Connecticut, including founding the Connecticut-based business WellSpark Health.
​
It was Roberta Wachtelhausen’s leadership skills and courage that helped her take an idea, bringing it to life and convincing others to invest in the vision. She overcame many obstacles including financial, launching a new brand at the onset of COVID-19 and keeping employees focused on the mission during all of it. She is a leadership power to be reckoned with.

In addition to be a founding member of the National Wellness Alliance (formerly WELCOA) Roberta Wachtelhausen contributes to three local boards: the CT Women’s Hall of Fame, Connecticut Insurance & Financial Services (CT IFS) and the Governor’s Prevention Partnership. She actively volunteers and supports Habitat for Humanity of Central Connecticut.
